VacMaster 4000Subsurface Utility Engineering


Joyner Keeny, PLLC has the most sophisticated state of the art equipment to find and map underground utilities. The US Department of Transportation and the American Society of Civil Engineers refer to this service as “Subsurface Utility Engineering ”. 

The US Department of Transportation reported tremendous savinga in their case studies when obtaining subsurface utility surveys on their highway projects.

Joyner Keeny, PLLC can provide you with service in accordance to the American Society of Civil Engineers standard 38-02 for Class A, Class B, Class C, and Class D surveys.

Using the Vacmaster 4000, Joyner Keeny, PLLC is able, in a non-destructive manner to uncover, photograph and obtain elevations, type and size of the utility. The Vacmaster 4000 has been used for years and has been proven to be a safe method to uncover utilities while producing minimum impact to existing roads, highways and shoulders. Once the Vacmaster is in place a two-person crew can dig a hole 6 feet deep in less than 20 minutes in average soils.
